Walter P. Carter Scholars Celebrate with Ice Cream!

At LTYC, we believe in celebrating growth, effort, and the joy of learning—and what better way to do that than with an Ice Cream Social?

Our amazing Scholars at Walter P. Carter Elementary/Middle School were treated to a delicious reward for all of their hard work, dedication, and creativity throughout their LTYC Arts Programming. From music to dance, visual arts to drama—these students have been showing up and showing out!

And this week, they took a well-deserved break to enjoy a fun-filled afternoon of ice cream, sprinkles, and smiles.

A Sweet Way to Say “Well Done!”

More than just a treat, this celebration was a reminder that effort matters, and when we nurture the whole child through the arts, we’re building confident, motivated, and joyful learners.

We loved seeing our students laugh, connect, and enjoy the fruits (and scoops) of their labor. Because yes—nothing tastes better than hard work... except maybe ice cream!
